The boys from Yorkshire told me that I should make up a Top Ten list for myself. Wow. I was thinking - how hard can it be?? A LOT harder than I thought LOL. I've spent days combing through the music on the puter and thru my cd's. Hell I even dug out the actual records for some of these just to get the right name of the song. Gad I'm old LOL. Seems I'm quite a music whore and I'll listen to just about any damn thing (well other than pounding techno, gangsta rap and twangy country LOL). It's interesting the things you find in your music collection when you really start looking - for some reason I have Ziggy Marley, BackStreet Boys, New Kids on the Block, S Club 7 and Donnie Osmond -oh the horror. Anyhow, here are my picks and I figure if Piggy can list 11 then dammit I can list 12 LOL
1. Billie Holiday - God Bless the Child - just close your eyes and listen to that whisky and cigarette voice. You can almost imagine yourself in a smoky bar listening to Lady Day.
2. Luciano Pavorotti - Ave Maria - ahhhhhh his voice is just so amazing. Even if you hate opera and hymns this one give me chills.
3. Eartha Kitt - Old Fashioned Girl - I love Eartha she is just so damned talented (and she was the BEST Catwoman!!). I've actually seen her perform live and if you ever ever get the chance GO.
4. Don McLean - Vincent (also known as Starry Starry Night) - such a sad and pretty song to go along with great art. My depressed and sing along song.
5. Rolling Stones - Angie - My bestest friend from childhood who I still hang with is named Angie and this song always reminds me of her. We've been friends since we were 8 and we have it all planned out for when we are old and senile. We're gonna live together and be weird old cat ladies together LOL.
6. Joe Cocker - You can leave your hat on - what can I say? I just like it.
7. Spice Girls - Holler - just.shut.up. I know it's Spice Girls but I happen to like the song LOL.
8. Debeleh Morgan - Dance with Me - this one is a great tango song. A left over from the Ballroom dancing days - I dare you not dance in your chair.
9. Santana - Smooth - another dancing lesson holdover. A great cha-cha tune.
10. Will Smith - Just the two of us - I have a big time crush on ol' Will and this is pretty much as a close to rap as I get.
11. Puddle of Mudd - She hate me - somethin about this one just appeals to me LOL and unless the boys get the censored version this one is NOT work friendly.
12. Bowling for Soup - 1985 - Ahhhh this is soooo me.
for shits and giggles everyone should have a listen to -
Haiducci - Dragostea Din Tei if you can find it. You'll recognize it even if you don't speak Romanian. Katie and I got curious and searched for it and play it loudly occasionally just to tick off BT lol.
There you go boys. Hope it doesn't disappoint you too badly lol.

I love New Kids on the Block!!! They are and always will be my favorite band. I spent so much time and money as a child obsessing over Joey, Jordan, John, Danny and Donnie. I can't wait for the reunion!
My sister was a huge fan of Jonathan! For shame. Anyway, I don't know many of these songs Lost, I do know quite a few, but not as many as I would have liked.
