Why yes I AM living the high life, thank you very much lol. I had two, count em, two Thanksgiving dinners this past long weekend. One with my mommy, daddy and brothers. One with my veddy veddy english friends like I do every year. Its the most people I've talked to in a year all crammed into one weekend. It was great. I think I'm starting to see a light at the end of this depression tunnel I've been in for so long and it feels good.
I felt so good recently that I signed up for a night school course with my friend S (I really oughta give her some exotic name rather just plain ol S), hmmm let''s call her Sioux. Anyhow, Sioux and I decided to take a moccasin making course, yeah yeah I know but it was either moccasins or belly dancing LOL. Anyhow, we've been fiddling and cutting moose hide for a couple of weeks now and it's actually fun. Hehehehe I gotta tell you one that happened last week, there we are cutting our moose hides and Sioux can't get one of her pattern pieces to sit right so she asks me to help her. I toddle over with my ruler and fix it all up and I ask her why she can't get the line straight herself. Then it happens, one of those moments when everyone in the room stops talking at the same time and it goes completely silent and in this silence Sioux says " I don't DO straight" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA EVERYONE in the room swiveled her head towards us and I collapse laughing and said "That sounded sooooooo wrong!" So now everyone thinks that Sioux and I are more than "just friends" and both Sioux and I were laying across the table laughing our asses off. *wipes tears of laughter* there really is a certain joy in sharing an unexpected laugh with a good friend. Btw, Sioux's husband thought it was hilarious and teases us about running off together and leaving him alone. LOL

BWAHAHAHA! Glad you and Siouxsie had a chuckle!!! I know what you mean about that darkness of depression. I battle that beast myself. And while I can function quite well at WORK, I can't seem to do anything at HOME. I hate that!
That made us laugh out loud :)

Sounds like you've been having quite the laugh lately.
I miss you of course, even tho' I didn't always stop by as much as I should've, it was comforting to know you were nearby. I want to come see you soon, just say the word and we'll be over in a flash! you should so come to the costume party with us! It'd be fun and I still have fond cabaret memories of past years.
wayhey - do you do moccasin slippers ? if so, i have 4 pairs to order .... how much ?
What a fun class! I remember having a pair of moccasins when I was a kid and I just treasured them. It blew me away that I could wear them out in the snow with only socks underneath. (Well, duh).
And Sioux is much better than S :)

How cool about the moccasins! It seems like it would be so hard.
