Pure bliss I tell ya

Well my son the delinquent is back in the neighbourhood. Hanging out in front of my house as a matter of fact. Grand, just grand. I'm afraid to leave the damn house now or to let Katie leave the house. I don't know that he would actually touch either of us as he has a good healthy fear of BT but you just never know.

I spoke to the cop that was here the other night and he says our best bet is Jamie's probation officer who can revoke his probation and maybe get him put somewhere he can get some help. So I'm off to see the Probation officer at 2 this afternoon armed with all my paperwork and fears. The really happy part is that my doctor took me off one of my meds this week (because of the weight gain it causes) and I'm jittering like a crack junkie. I'm gonna look like the mother of the year shaking and sweating. We'll see how it goes. More later.

Dearest Lost-

I hate that your own child can put so much fear into your family's life. This should NOT be.

I love you bunches and hope all works out for you. Please keep us informed...we worry about you.

Lost,

I am so sorry to hear about all of these problems, that is just awful! I hope things go ok with the probation officer - you are a strong person, feel free to use my new mantra "this too shall pass."

I'm sure that the laws are different in Canada from those in the St8's...but, can you get a restraining order put in place? If he were to violate the rules of the restraing order, he would be placed in jail. This may be the only way that he will receive help. Just a thot...

I agree with Tim! That is an excellent idea. If you can show that he can be abusive (not sure that he is) but I know that they take that pretty seriously. My dad had a restraining order against him because my mom called the cops on him slamming her hand in the door (by accident). My ma was drunk and so overreacted to situation and called cops, they automatically put restraining order in place. Although, that is because it was considered "spousal abuse" (BS) but, I just think for your own protection that this is a great idea.

shoot! Also meant to comment on your pill switch. Do ya mind me asking which ones? I have gone up 5 pant sizes since giving birth last year. Maybe (since I know some of our probs are similar) it could be my pills too?

Here's to all of us losing weight. Dr. Bernstein here I come!
