Oh the joy of it

Things just get better and better. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from Jamie's lawyer - seems they let Jamie right back out of jail and his lawyer is looking for him. AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what was the friggin point of getting the cops to take him???? Of course now BT and I are on pins and needles waiting for something else to happen. Jamie's just the kinda guy to want some revenge for us having him arrested. Great. We're terrified that we are going to have to replace the windshield again. There isn't even another parking spot available at any of the other complexs around here that my super manages, so we can't even "hide" the car.

I finally got the name of Jamie's probation officer and I contacted her. I have an appointment to talk to her on Friday and I'm taking everything I have for Jamie - his psych report from school etc. It seems that she hasn't been able to find him and he hasn't gone for one single appointment since his sentencing last month (he is supposed to see her twice a month). I'm hoping that I can convince her to put him in a group home or something so that he won't be living on the street. We'll have to see what happens. Ain't life grand?

Lost, just taped into your blog - and I'm so sorry to hear about all this horrible stuff. I feel so bad for your daughter, to save all that money and have it gone - if it was me, I'd be so pissed I'd go after this Jamie character and beat him to a pulp... Yeah...still working on that whole patience/mediation thing. Anyway, do hope things start looking up.

OH DAMN! Why cant they realize that sometimes Parents have the right idea!! Lock the little bugger up!! hopefully someone will take charge before he ends up doing real harm to himself or others.

God I feel like a selfish prat. I am moaning on at length about my troubles and in actuality, no one is in real danger here. YOU! Are in danger and if I know anything about Jamie whatsoever, he's likely as not to have a gang of his "friends" do some damage too. I understand now more than even why you'd want to move. I take it you'll be leaving him behind? Don't blame you at all, but don't give him my address? I can use without the "hello" JK.

It really sounds like somethings up with your local "justice" system! Up until now I never heard of a fellow Probation Officer not immediately revoking when they miss the first appointment, let alone 2 and still no revocation! The coin flips both directions and the probation officer is liable if something happens to your son if they're just letting him run the streets!
