There's a hole in my roof

As I mentioned before, this weekend was spent emptying every pot, bowl and bucket in the house because this place was leaking like a sieve. Yesterday, the roofing guys were here AGAIN trying to figure out why my place started leaking after they finished work on the roof. They have no idea by the way but they pulled up a bunch of shingles and replaced them, put down a new drip edge and some new membrane. Gawd, only knows if that will work but I have high hopes. They even told me that they will be coming back during the next rainfall to see if it's leaking again and if it's not, that they will be coming back after that to repair the damage that was caused. Of course I had no idea they were coming here yesterday so I had what Special K calls a big greasy bedhead and I was still in my jammies. Lovely. Nothing like having a house full of young men while you are looking like the creature from the black lagoon.

I'll bet you're wondering where I've been, but the long and short of it is, I was home in bed on Tuesday and Wednesday and believe me when I tell you, I went OUT in my jammies and bedhead and bad breath to go get my fix from Tim Hortons; Twice! *LOL*

sorry about the leaky roof, we have one too- it sucks. As for the eye candy, who cares what you looked like? Just stare anyway, lol

Bed-head is kinda sexy on the right person, tho.

How hot were the guys? Not that I care...just asking. Nope...don't care at all.....

Mary Lou - Won't know if the damn thing is fixed until it rains again.

Vegasbaby - I've slept in tents like that before lol.

Phyllis - It's not my house just a lowly rental townhouse so thank goodness I don't have to fix it lol

Blogeois - they put down a waterproof membrane so I guess we'll have to see

Rowan - you must have been really desperate to go to get coffee in that condition LOL

Kim - Hard to stare at the eye candy when you feeling like a big sack of ugly lol

Tony - Not all that hot although there was one....... lol

Leaking roofs are horrible. I lived in a townhouse once and ever time it rained, water poured in through the light fixture in the dining room. Water plus electricity. Yay! They never did fix the leak while we lived there.

But I think I'd rather have the leak in the roof than have a bunch of workmen show up in my living room while I was still in my jammies :)
