I'm being a bad bad mommy today and I'm letting Katie stay home from school. She had three tests yesterday so there won't be any today so I figure I'll let her have a kinda long weekend. Who am I kidding? I"m spring cleaning and dammit I need the help LOL. She leaves for her dad's tonight for the weekend and I want to get as much of this done as possible so I can give her her allowance BEFORE she goes to her dad. Since it's going to be a big clean up, I'm planning on giving her more money than usual, it will make her a very happy camper.
In other news, I got a call from Jamie's probation officer AND his lawyer - both of them looking for Jamie because he didn't show up for his scheduled probation appointment. *sigh* he is SO going to end up in juvie.
I called my mom this week as her birthday was on Monday. Her and dad are back from Florida and my dad is leaving on Wednesday for Scotland. It's going to be my great-uncle Donald's birthday, he's turning 90 next week and my dad wants to be there to celebrate it with him. My mom is looking forward to him being gone for a couple of weeks - she says this is HER vacation LOL. Since Dad's stroke, he's been kind of a handful for my mom and this will be the first time they've been apart for any length of time since his stroke three years ago.
Anyway, the broom and vacuum are calling me.

Believe me, I know ALL about spring cleaning right now. You wouldn't BELIEVE the junk I've found while packing up (every single candle from my 1st birthday to my daughter's 9th). Oh wait, you would believe it. YOU are the one who convinced me to get rid of all my school workbooks and binders from H.S. LOL :-)

When you are done could you and your daughter stop by the villa, I need some light housework done (extra cash for total removal of guest-dog hair).
I was going to ask Tony, but he's such a pack-rat, and he'd be so disappointed that I don't have a copy of the porn film he appeared in (sold it on EBay for about twenty five cents)...you know good help is so hard to find today.
Seriously, bummer about Jamie, but what can you do? Hang in there-better days!
