Thinking
I'm starting to think, based on my television viewing preferences, that I am a very morbid person. I'm fascinated with death investigation or maybe they are just really great shows lol. I watch all the CSI's, FBI files, various detective shows, ancient history mummy shows and forensic shows. THey all basically have to do with dead people and death. Is it just intellectual curiousity or am I some kind of sicko? Granted I must not be alone in this since there are LOTS of shows out there now. I'm such a nerd about this that this weekend the guy who plays Greg Sanders on CSI is going to be in town and dammit I'm going. I don't even LIKE his character but I'll be one of the crowd trying to get an autograph. Well, maybe not part of a crowd considering my agoraphobia but if the place isn't packed I'm gonna try. Is that nerdy or what? Hell I even have all the CSI pc games....where did I leave that pocket protector? lol.

No, not a sicko... unless you're following your local cops to a murder scene! hehehe
I watch the ancient mummy shows and the like all the time. As to CSI, I don't watch it all that much because though our technology can do what they show on TV... how many cases do we spend 3-4 million dollars on? Not the hooker found in the trash bin, etc. Also the timeframe involved for DNA is incredible! I wish we could get results within just 4-6 weeks, let alone hours.
Nah, as long as one keeps in perspective that if they need and call the cops, they're not going to have a person with zoom-lense eyeballs looking over their blouse from 20 feet away and seeing a microscopic print to lift - they'll be ok. :)
Nope, Im here too!! Now I DONT like plain old CSI dont know why, but I do like Miami CSI, and CSI, NY, and NAVY NCIS! I have not read Patricia COrnwell's books, but I love mystery and Murder books. Im reading the last of the Goldy Bear mysteries...SHe is a gourmet catereer in Aspen Colorado, and solves Murders. Has written about 12 books I think. (Diane Mott Davidson)
CSI is an awsome show and SO addictive. Maybe too many spin-offs, though. I am still waiting for CSI: Marmaduke County.
CSI Buford: Hey. Wanna solve a crime, today?
CSI JoeBob: Yup. What crime we gonna solve?
CSI Buford: We could kill someone and ID the killer.
CSI JoeBob: 'Kay.
got one up on you...i also watch six feet under. it's hard for me to watch csi miami because the main dude is just soooo dramatic and cheesy but i sit through them because it's csi.
i think i watch the detective shows to find out more ways i could be killed or victimized so i can lay awake alone in bed scared to death. the more i watch the more i know i should stop watching them because i get paranoid. i mean, what are the chances of me being killed by my estranged husband for the $250,000 life insurance pay out? hmmmm, maybe that was a bad example.
