Alright I need to a grip here. Depression doesn't just have teeth - that sucker has FANGS and it's sooooo hard to fight off. But I'm trying to shake it off.
I've been blog trawling and finding new and interesting things to read. I've heard all along about "Mommie bloggers" and some people love em and some people hate em. I suppose it all depends on whether you find reading about what someone else's kids do amusing. Personally I like those stories and some of these women are genuinely gifted writers (and comediennes lol). Not to say that there aren't a few that I've read where I got past three posts and got a little tired of "omg little jonny is such a perfect angel blah blah blah". I'm far more interested in the real people who admit that their kids drive them mental and they have plotted their escape many times lol. Since I only had the two kids and I come from a small family myself, I'm fascinated with really big families and how they cope with things. There are three that have had me really interested lately - The Rocking Pony
very funny lady with four kids. Next is The More the Messier - this way busy lady has SIX kids and is still sane (well mostly) - she has moody teenager problems and a wicked sense of humour. Last but certainly not least is Wendster's Blog She has four kids ranging from 18 to 4. Maybe I'm most impressed by her real bravery with her blog. She made New Year's Resolutions at, well, New Year's (duh lol) and she has kept them! One of her resolutions was to lose weight and *ahem* POST HER WEIGHT ON HER BLOG EVERY DAY!!!! There should be some kind of medal for that kind of bravery.
So that's what I've been doing lately - reading other people's blog archives lol. It has helped though to break that blogger block I had, I really am inspired now BUT I don't think I'll be posting my weight every day LOL

... and here I am feeling like a movie star.
Thanks for de-lurking and commenting on my blog.
I just read ALL of your posts and commented on ALL of them.
I enjoy your writing style and I agree with you and your blog preferences. Just keep it real, please. I want to hurl as well when I hear that your child will eat whatever you serve them. I want to hear that their feet are on the table and they are remonstrating you less than gently for letting the gravy touch the mashed potatoes.
And hey ... about the weight posting. H#%& yes it's a bit mortifying to post my weight daily when I am ... more curvaceous than I would like that guy I used to date who READS MY BLOG to see ... but I just gotta get over it. Right now my life is about keeping my word to ME. Who care who can see me?
Dance like nobody's watching, right?
OK then. Here ... you can have this box now ... if you would like to stand on it awhile and do impressions or sumpin. I'm off of my soap box finally. heh heh.
Nice to meet ya!
Wendy
p.s. I'll be back.
sooner rather than later!
Dang typos.
Here's an "s" ... you know ... just to throw in where I missed it up there. (Who careS who's watching)
anal me.
Ahhhh! He was Miss Saigon! That makes more sense now.
Must get sound on my pc.
And our squirrels DO have bushy tails. I know cuz the house on the corner has a huge pine tree and they have several squirrels. I see them crossing the power lines sometimes. kinda. like. rats. lolol.
Have a great day.
I guess I'll just be thankful I don't have squirrels. But last night I dreamed I had a teeny tiny TINY!!! BUNNY. It was less than a 1/4 inch tall.
Weird dream.
I beat a lady up for not taking care of it for me.
sigh.
wanna go sign up for dream analysis with me?
lol.
Wendy
